KIS LOWER SECONDARY
MIDDLE
YEARS Programme
The Middle Years Programme (MYP) at KIS forms our Lower Secondary School curriculum, this framework allows students to develop into active learners, global citizens and internationally minded individuals. The development is guided through our specialist structured curriculum where we offer a wide variety of subjects.
KIS Secondary School Programme
Our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Programme is available for students from 4 to 6 years of age. We use the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programmeme (IBPYP) to frame our Programme, aiming to encourage children to develop a love of learning. We believe that children are active, competent, curious, intelligent, expressive and compassionate. These fundamental beliefs inform all of our interactions and engagements with children. The ultimate goal is to allow a space for the child to construct his or her own powers of thinking through all of their expressive, communicative and cognitive languages.

MYP
Subjects
The MYP fosters both academic growth and personal development, offering a wide range of opportunities for students to achieve success. Designed to accommodate the diverse learning styles and needs of adolescents, it equips students with the skills and mindset necessary for effective and mature learning. Additionally, the MYP lays a strong foundation for future studies in the IB Diploma Programme, preparing students for continued success.
Alongside the academic curriculum, we also implement a well being Programme for the students throughout their studies, Social and Emotional Learning.
For students who are new to the English Language and have a preference to learn English, we offer English conversational sessions to develop the levels of conversational skills.
